It would certainly make sense to be able to buy U.S. stamps from the American Print Alliance for all those U.S. print competitions and other submissions that require a stamped return envelope, instead of spending a lot of money on "postal reply coupons." You can now order stamps online directly from the U.S. Postal Service; there is a $6 fee for international stamp orders. We can sell them to you at face value plus postage to send them, with these requirements:

1. You must be a current subscriber to Contemporary Impressions.
2. You must order in multiples of ten stamps per denomination.
3. You must send a check or money order in U.S. dollars, including the cost of sending the stamps to you.

Use the postal rate calculator or the international rate charts to decide how much postage is needed to send your envelopes to you. For example, a simple letter weighs one ounce, but with the enclosure of three slides in plastic or cardboard mounts the envelope will weigh at least two ounces. At this time (September 2006), the denominations available are 1¢, 3¢, 24¢, 39¢, 63¢, $1.00, $4.05.

Be sure to include the cost of sending the stamps to you! Figure that an order of up to 40 stamps weighs one ounce.
